Covered in mist. And everyone thought they knew what was on the other side, like Job's friends. They threw her off the cliff. So she flew. With wings of integrity and faith. She flew. We live everyday with certain paradoxes. Our light mingles with darkness. Calm quietly appears in the chaos of our storms. Peace sprouts up in the house of war. Freedom persists despite anchors of imprisonment. Legalism rules while Grace carries. Resignation suffocates… even as lift-off ensues.
Fight and Flight is my snapshot of a moment in time… a short scene within a larger unfinished narrative soaked in paradox. The story here is not over yet, but it’s not just begun either. We are not what we were, and what we are now…is not what we will be.
